Heart Ball is one of the premier American Heart Association fundraising events both locally and across the nation. Our evening celebrates the lives saved and improved because of everyone’s countless efforts.
The 2016 Akron Heart Ball took place on Saturday, February 20 at the Hilton Akron/Fairlawn, and shined the spotlight on the mission of the American Heart Association, which is building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke, in an appeal to support ongoing health research and education in this community and communities across the nation.
Chaired by Tom Malone, MD, President and Chief Executive Officer of Summa Health, and his wife Megan, this year’s Akron Heart Ball ralliesdaround the theme “Red Hot & Blazin’ Blues: Celebrating 15 Years of Passion,” and was proudly presented by Signet Jewelers.
This event was an engaging evening of fun and passion, bringing community and philanthropic leaders together.
